Who I am?

Hey, I’m Varsha. My journey with technology started young—I was always the kid taking apart gadgets just to see how they worked. In 2011, I got hooked on web development, building custom web pages and experimenting with code. That curiosity eventually turned into a full-blown career, leading me to work on enterprise applications, financial services platforms, AI-driven systems, and even game development.

I’ve been fortunate to work at companies like Capital One, Deloitte, and Capgemini, where I built scalable microservices, optimized cloud deployments, and engineered machine learning solutions. At Capital One, I helped enhance their Rewards Redemption System, handling 500K+ daily API requests while ensuring high availability and security. At Deloitte, I worked on a credit risk ML model, reducing false positives and streamlining real-time financial predictions. Before that, I even got my hands dirty in game development, working on interactive gaming projects that gave me a whole new appreciation for real-time rendering, performance optimization, and user engagement.

These days, I’m diving deep into Generative AI and cloud computing, applying my skills to real-world impact. One of my most exciting projects is a survey platform for academic research, where I’m working under Professor Kelly Wellman, designing a system to recruit over 2 million users for research data collection. It’s a challenge that blends scalability, AI, and user experience—exactly the kind of problem I love solving.

Beyond work, I’m passionate about fitness, nutrition, and travel. Whether it’s exploring new cities, experimenting in the kitchen, or getting lost in a Dan Brown novel, I find inspiration everywhere. For me, tech isn’t just about building software—it’s about pushing boundaries, solving meaningful problems, and creating tools that make a difference.
